||A smokebox numberplate, 35029, from the (SR) Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2, ELLERMAN LINES, built at Eastleigh and allocated new to Bournemouth on 19 February 1949 and later Dover, Nine Elms and Weymouth from where it was withdrawn on 11 September 1966. Sold for scrap to Woodham Bros at Barry, it survived the cutter's torch and was acquired by the National Railway Museum at York where it is on sectionalized public display. The front repainted, the BR(S) triangle on the back.
