Lot 1 MERRELL published two volume production detailing the building of the Channel Tunnel high speed rail link. Each volume in photo illustrated hardback covers, one dealing with the people involved in the construction and the other dealing with the work. Each volume 200+pp published 2007, both contained in black cloth slipcase. Perhaps the definitive work on the subject. - Sold for £120 to bidder number 3451

Lot 2 TWO VOLUME work "The Railways of Great Britain - A Historical Atlas" by Colonel Michael H.Cobb. Green hardback covers in green slipcase, 600+pp, first edition published by Ian Allan in 2003. VGC. - Sold for £370 to bidder number 4169

Lot 10 TOMLINSON J "Railway Locomotion". Hardback with title in gold on front containing 40+ plates and 42pp address by the president of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in May 1890. Minor wear, annotation to title page. - Sold for £45 to bidder number 1291
