Lot 922 STOCKTON AND DARLINGTON RAILWAY 24"x20" letterpress poster "Abstract of Penalties" dated July 1830. Details many of the fines for bye-law infringement and act of parliament. Folded, some wear and fragile. A rare early survivor. - This item was not sold.
Lot 923 NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE AND CARLISLE RAILWAY letterpress poster detailing locations for the public to sign the petition promoting the building of the railway. 16"x11" dated April 1835. Folded, good condition. - Sold for £35 to bidder number 2799
