Lot 140 WEAR VALLEY RAILWAY payment receipt for £550 dated 1850. Issued at their Darlington office. Blue print with engraving of company loco in a country scene. Signed by Henry Pease, signature pen cancelled. Plus hand written transfer certificate for 10 £50 shares dated 1854. (2) - Sold for £30 to bidder number 769

Lot 141 GLOUCESTER AND BERKELEY CANAL NAVIGATION share transfer certificate for five shares dated 1863. Ornate title, not cancelled, folded. - Sold for £18 to bidder number 384

Lot 142 EXETER, TEIGN VALLEY & CHAGFORD RAILWAY fully headed letter from the Secretary's Office dated 1896. - Sold for £50 to bidder number 3451

Lot 144 LONDON AND BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY chart showing gross weekly receipts for 1838 - 1841. Fold out paper type, laid on modern backing paper. Fold tear. - Sold for £50 to bidder number 4812

Lot 145 LBSCR 2pp advert. Front advertises weekly packet of 6 tickets and three monthly season tickets for use between Streatham Hill and Victoria. Blue and green print. Rear shows illustrated advert "Use the Brighton Railway Elevated Electric Trains". Some wear and minor faults. - Sold for £22 to bidder number 769
