Lot 141 Share Certificates: GOLDEN VALLEY RAILWAY share certificate for one £10 share dated 1878. Ornate scrolled title, orange print with engraving of old loco at left, embossed seal, not cancelled. Plus coloured map of line with proposed extensions and printed circular dated 1890 re company finances. (3) - Sold for £55 to bidder number 829.

Lot 143 Share Certificates: LIVERPOOL OVERHEAD RAILWAY share certificate for 25 5% perpetual preference shares dated 1893. Ornate scrolled title, embossed seal, large engraving of the overhead line in city scene. Perforation cancellations, folded. Plus LOR handbill for 1955 for Grand National at Aintree Racecourse, LOR season ticket application form and Mersey Railway unused signalman's certificate dated 191x. (4) - This item was not sold.
