Lot 382 Four pre grouping handbills. L&YR to Douglas via Liverpool from Darwen and Blackburn (May 1891), GCR from the Sheffield area to Nottingham and Leicester for cricket matches (August 1908), LNWR to Blackpool from Birmingham (March 1894, faded), GCR to London from Liverpool & Chester area (June 1914). Lot 385 LNER handbill for cheap tickets to Newcastle for the Newcastle v Manchester City football match from many smaller stations between Wooler and Killingworth including Ilderton,Glanton, Beal, Belford, Lucker,Plessey, Cramlington, etc. Dated May 1923. Plus CLC handbill re season excursions to various local stations dated June 1939. Very poor condition with several tape repairs. Also GCR larger sized handbill for Christmas holidays from Manchester area stations to stations between Sheffield and Leicester, Dated 1913. Edge loss and tears.
